Legal TraineeMessrs. Raja Darryl & Loh Jun 2016 - Mar 2017Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaMessrs. Raja Darryl & Loh offers a well-balanced pupillage programme. It is among the few law firms in Malaysia that actually practises a rotation system in pupillage; 1 month in Litigation Department, 1 month in Corporate, 1 month in IP Department and the rest of the month is decided by me. Being able to rotate and experience the different practice areas helped me decide my career path. In both practices I was exposed to a good range of work and lots of opportunities to learn from such as drafting, researching, etc. On top of that, the firm regularly holds workshops and talks which I found to be useful and informative in keeping abreast of the latest developments in law or otherwise. The culture is very friendly and this comes directly from the people itself. The firm strives to deliver the best services to its clients and this is reflected in the hours and details put into the work. Everything from the research to the colour of covers would have been given due consideration. It is a privilege for me to be a pupil at Raja, Daryyl and Loh. Chambering here has given me tremendous confidence and skills that will be valuable for the rest of my career.
