As we expand our reach in the MENA region, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary Regional Manager to lead our MENA team and spearhead our expansion and community engagement efforts.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement and expansion strategy for the MENA region, tailored to the unique needs and opportunities within the community.Partnership Development: Lead the initiative in forging partnerships with other like-minded organizations and initiatives. This involves identifying potential partners, negotiating collaborations, and managing these relationships to enhance the platform's impact and reach.Outreach and Engagement: Oversee and manage the development of outreach and engagement interventions. This includes creating innovative approaches to engage with the community, increase platform adoption, and foster a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs and mentors.Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for the platform's key partners and donors in the region, including high-profile entities such as Google and USAID. This involves maintaining strong relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and showcasing the impact of their support.Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the MENA team to achieve strategic objectives. This includes providing direction, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

As a key member of The Blue Globe Team, I spearheaded the development of outreach strategies tailored to our open innovation projects. My management extended to overseeing outreach activities spanning diverse geographies, notably the United Kingdom and Kenya. I was integral in supporting the roll-out of challenge-based funding rounds, ensuring their successful implementation. Additionally, my expertise was leveraged in fortifying our business development efforts, where I contributed significantly to proposal writing and strategic planning.

In this role, I supported the Economic Justice components of EU social entrepreneurship projects, including JOinUP! and other projects, creating an inclusive, more connected, and better-resourced social entrepreneurship eco-system in Jordan.

I was responsible for the provision of technical support to the Youth-Oriented Innovative Employment and Livelihoods towards Durable Solutions (YIELDS) team. I provided expert advice, guidance, and support to different departments in the application of digital technologies and digital business development, and oversaw and managed research consultant work regarding the digital market in the Kurdistan region assessment.Highlights from my role include:• Developed Business Development Grants Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversaw the implementation of grants

I designed and implemented project plans for multiple projects using Project Management best practices including statements of work, schedules, deliverables, and work budgets. I contributed to the proposal development process by developing new concepts and program initiatives, all adhering to organisational objectives, as well as initiating workflow and developing and monitoring project budgets. I also developed narrative and financial performance reports, as required.

I worked as part of a Google.org -funded three-year project to identify and test creative, technology-enhanced solutions to address Jordan’s youth unemployment. I contributed to the development of program strategy and the structure of program intervention areas.I also supported the Program Manager in the successful implementation of the project, supporting the planning and implementation of project activities and identifying and facilitating relationships with private and public sector actors. I also ensured the smooth functioning of all internal compliance processes for the project.

As part of Shamal Start team, I worked with the project manager on rewriting the project manual and managing the selection of process of two of Shamal Start cohorts
