I was the CEO of the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE) in Jerusalem. Before this position, I headed the Department of Computer-Based Testing, directed the Israeli National Assessment of Educational Progress, the development of MATAL - a computerized test battery for the diagnosis of learning disabilities, and headed the language processing unit, which involved the development of tools for automated essay scoring and text analysis. I developed several test batteries for the assessment of cognitive skills and learning progress of K-12 students. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Psychology specializing in Psychometrics, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where I taught for 15 years in the Psychology Department. Finally, I had just finished a 3-year term as the president of the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA).
