Ana is an award-winning author and journalist originally from Croatia and Austria. After extensive work experience in diplomacy, Ana built a career in international marketing at the Mobilkom Austria Group, specializing in strategic market planning. Looking for a more creative environment, she moved to advertising, where she managed key accounts at Ogilvy and Mather and Publicis. In 2007, Ana decided to make stories her profession and published two award-winning memoirs. Since then, she has participated in anthologies, and written well over a hundred essays, articles and interviews in various Croatian, Austrian and German newspapers, magazines and journals. Between 2010 and 2017 Ana lived in Los Angeles where she worked as a Hollywood reporter and studied screen writing at UCLA. In 2020, she launched her award-winning podcast “Thank You, Mama” which is also the basis for writing workshops Ana holds. Ana’s work has been covered by dozens of media outlets in Europe, where she has given numerous interviews and been a guest on TV and radio shows as an expert in feminism, immigration, and diversity.In 2023, Ana started teaching at the Department for Strategic Communication of the Webster Vienna Private University.
