With over 16+ years of experience in software engineering, I am passionate about building scalable and reliable data infrastructure solutions that enable data-driven decision making and insights. As an Engineering Manager, Data Platform at Cruise, I lead a team of talented engineers responsible for designing and developing the data platform and infrastructure that supports the data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis of Cruise's massive and complex data sets towards delivering safe and sustainable mobility solutions.Prior to joining Cruise, I was a Staff Engineer at Intuit, where I architected and scaled data enablement solutions with a customer data platform to drive marketing campaigns and systems of customer engagement. I also aligned with the architecture group to evolve standards and best practices for customer data domains, and worked closely with the engineering and product teams to prioritize, execute, and deliver go-to-market tools and capabilities. Before that, I was a Director of Engineering at Nike, where I provided leadership to multiple teams focused on building consumer data based products and solutions, such as advanced audience segmentation and syndication capabilities of Nike's MarTech platform. In both roles, I leveraged my technical skills as well as my knowledge of data science and machine learning, to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions that met the needs and expectations of the customers and stakeholders. I hold a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and have completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at The Wharton School, UPenn.
