Ana Temu Otting is a business owner, political campaign strategist, community activist, and lifelong organizer. Ana is currently the President/CEO of Corazón Printing, the only woman of color owned unionized print shop in the State of Colorado. She founded this print shop alongside her husband with the vision of providing quick turnaround prints to fill the ever growing need in the political niche.Ana is also the Founder and Principal Consultant at Corazón Consulting LLC, a consulting firm specializing in political analysis, strategy, and implementation for candidates, ballot initiatives, advocacy organizations, and government agencies. Temu Otting has specialized in human-centered strategy, community organizing, and event management for a decade and a half. She brings a wealth of knowledge on diligent event execution and comprehensive community engagement. Since 2010, Temu Otting has been at the forefront of strategically planning years and decades’ worth of work for social justice movements, like the immigrant rights movement, along with partners like United We Dream and Center for Community Change, with a human-centered lens to pass federal and state legislation. She has helped research, create, and pass several pro-immigrant bills in the state, like Driver’s licenses for all, In-state Tuition for Undocumented Students, repeal of Colorado’s “Show Me Your Papers” law, and the nation’s first state-funded Immigrant Legal Defense Fund, among others. As a former scheduling and advance staffer at the Presidential and Gubernatorial level, Temu Otting knows how to organize events ranging from themed-focused house parties of 20-30 people to gracefully managing logistics for 30,000+ people rallies. In 2016, Temu Otting planned and executed large rallies across the country in auditoriums, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers, where she was the event point person for contracts, vendors, and press. She also coordinated with the Secret Service daily to analyze the safety and security of Senator Bernie Sanders’ motorcade and movements throughout the venue. She is currently on the Colorado Blue Flower Small Donor Committee as Co-President, helping elect pro-choice Democratic women to local and state offices.Temu Otting also serves on the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. She helps create, shape, and implement innovative strategies and policies that eliminate barriers and increase access to higher education. Ana is an alumnus of MSU Denver, having received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Anthropology.
