Since August 2014 I have been in charge of a new section about educational content and professional training, aimed at university and post-graduate students. I am responsible both for choosing subjects for articles, as well as writing them and the production of videos. I also manage the Twitter andFacebook accounts for the section.

For a year, I wrote articles for the politics, international and society sections for this 100% digital daily. I learnt the most from the coverage of current events via streaming, a trend that at the time was just getting started in Spain. As well as the production of videos and interactive graphics, I worked as community manager with the Twitter and Facebook accounts of the newspaper. The most rewarding experience was the coverage of the Ruta Quetzal in Panama.

I was in charge of documenting cases of people who were in a situation of inequality, above all the unemployed. I also wrote a number of articles about culture, in particular theater, as well as editing and updating the website for the section. I developed my skills as a community manager.

I was the correspondent in Elche for the Spanish public news agency EFE for nearly two years. I was in charge of covering all of the current news stories that were taking place in the city, which has a population of 240,000. The main areas I covered included politics, economy, education, health and the courts. I recorded and edited videos about cultural and education subjects. Some of my pieces had an international reach, in China and in Latin America.

In 2009, I took my first internship as a third-year journalism student, at La Verdad for two months in the summer. At that time journalism was done mostly on paper, it was the start of the web, which was still something residual. In the middle of 2011, I returned, this time with an 18-month postgraduate internship. My responsibilities were the same as those of the rest of the journalists. I was in charge of covering the courts and later on politics. I covered all of the municipal sessions at Elche City Hall.

During my university studies, I took a 10-month internship at the headquarters of the Socialists (a progressive party) in Valencia. I was in charge of writing press releases, editing videos and helping with the organization of events. It allowed me to get to know the way that a politicalparty works from the inside.
