Means to achieve this goal We think that the most effective way to achieve this goal is by collaborating with other Committees within ABA International, perhaps by (co-) organizing programs at the Spring and Fall Meetings of the Section but also, possibly, by holding specialized round table meetings (once or twice each year). Furthermore, we aim to publish an annual article in the Year in Review publication of ABA International. The Programs at the ABA International Spring/Fall Meetings cover in general broad topics; therefore the target audience is equally broad and is not limited solely to tax lawyers. Indeed, most likely, the majority of the audience will be non-tax professionals. By contributing to these programs we want to create tax awareness with the non-tax specialized practitioner Experience proves that by explaining rather complicated tax concepts to a non-specialized audience, tax lawyers gain a better understanding of the circumstances in which the tax law applies, which serves well both the tax and non-tax professionals. This is a learning experience that we can recommend to everyone. -
