As the Executive Director, my task was to pioneer, develop and open Pine Cove’s first national expansion camp and program, consisting of 120 acres of land on Lake Hartwell. I assembled a full time staff team consisting of 10 employees, hired 75 summer staff and successfully opened the camp for the summer of 2017. I acted as the “owner/operator” of the entire construction project valued over $7.5 million, the layout and land development as well as the programming of the camp once in operation.

Tyler, Texas

Managed and developed the 4 Youth Camps in Tyler, TX. This consisted of providing oversight to each camp as well as the lead Director. Total oversight was 16 full time employees and over 600 summer staff each summer. Total operating budgets exceeded $7 million annually. Acreage of oversight consisted of roughly 700 acres. Total guests totaled over 12,000 persons annually.

Directed the 90 acre Pine Cove high school camp, which consisted of 4 full time employees, 150 summer staff, and over 4,000 guests annually. The operating budget managed was $2.3 million annually. Managed program, leadership, staff hiring, schedule, etc. Responsible for team development, spiritual leadership and teaching from up front and in small groups frequently.
