I am an eighth-year educational leader, currently serving as the Director of IEP Compliance and Development at KIPP Baltimore where I support the legal compliance of the region's special education programs. Prior to rejoining the KIPP Baltimore Team, I worked as an education consultant where I partnered with schools, districts, and charter organizations to provide technical support in special education. I have also served as a Special Education Manager and Model IEP Chair at KIPP Harmony Academy, leading a team responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Previously, I served as a Math Intervention Curriculum Developer at KIPP, where I created and piloted a math intervention program as well as scaled and implemented this approach school wide to increase student learning outcomes. I have also served as a Professional Learning Course Creator and Adult Facilitator with Baltimore City Public Schools, in which I created and led a 6-week professional development class to teachers citywide. Before moving into leadership at KIPP, I served as an elementary special education teacher and Teach for America corps member, beginning in 2016. I hold a B.A. in Development Sociology from Cornell University, and a Masters of Education from Johns Hopkins University.
