Managed all aspects of a program designed to fully automate settlement, reconciliation and journalization of carrier to carrier invoicing for AT&T’s Revenue Accounting group. Program followed a 3 year multi-phased deployment plan that included automated invoice reconciliation, development of a rules based sub ledger system interfaced to Oracle GL and multi-dimensional analytics for business intelligence. Solution significantly improved both booking and reporting accuracy while increasing operational efficiencies. Managed project team of five business analysts. Responsible for developing platform migration requirements by assessing functional differences between source and target systems that resulted from the merger of AT&T with Cingular Wireless. Assessment involved 3 different customer care and billing applications with 20 adjunct systems supporting a combined base of over 40 million subscribers. Core systems encompassed customer care, marketing, network provisioning, collections, finance and billing for voice and advanced data services.

Utilized industry trending data and client feedback to define innovative new software concepts that became a component based product suite called Rhapsody. The primary components of Rhapsody where electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), consumer self-care for ordering and account management (e-CARE) and a rules based profiling engine to aid Customer Service Representatives in recommending “best fit”/ “up-sell” offerings based on marketing drivers (e-Advisor). Prior to product manager roll with Alltel also held positions as Functional Architect, Sales Engineer, Development Lead and Developer for our flagship OSS/BSS system (Virtuoso II). Virtuoso II was designed as a componentized turnkey system for tier 1 telecom service providers. Platform included a Windows based GUI client with distributed Unix and AS400 backend components.
