Function as the Senior Designer and previously Creative Director for OPM web projects with full understanding of project life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation. Perform management duties, maintain daily operations, assign tasks, oversee project cycle and maintain quality assurance for a team of 8 designers, front-end developers, and project managers. Responsible for representing the agency’s visual presence by providing elegant, innovative on-brand design ideas using modern frameworks. Apply Human Centered Design and implement methodologies to projects at hand. Determine user needs, create conceptual wireframes, propose user experience and interface solutions, design UI/UX, graphics and web prototypes and mock-ups, develop 508 compliant, accessible web pages. Incorporate knowledge of competitive marketplace and industry trends, and translate user needs into design concepts. Implement design principles such as the grid system, branding, web-friendly typography, color schemes, professional photography and effective imagery to achieve the optimal balance, flow and clarity of the objective presented. Incorporate usability knowledge set by GSA and perform usability tests to create user friendly web environments and interactive experiences. Keep abreast of current, emerging technology and trends (ie. responsive design, infographics, social media). Assist agency teams in their design process by participating in Human Centered Design sessions, Usability tests, Focus groups, Stakeholder interviews and card sorting exercises. Develop guidance and content standards, and ensures that quality standards are met and maintained. Work closely with project managers and developers to provide conceptual ideas to technical solutions. Provide strategic direction to team members; perform quality assurance on completed tasks while maintaining compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

Provide studio and photojournalism-style photography services to local events and organizations, while incorporating creative and artistic vision. Photos have appeared in Washington Post, Washington Life, Washingtonian, DC Examiner, "BEST OF DC: Defining Change" (book), and various online media outlets. Expert proficiency in post production processes.
