It is more cost efficient to have a hands-on perfectionist than a design planner overseeing a crew or various subcontractors. The elemental tasks of a design job are usually simple – light construction, paint, surfaces, upholstery and lighting. I am capable of doing all these things myself, as a general rule. It’s the coordination of the design elements that can be tricky. Colors can surprise you, and textures will amaze you, all of which can look vastly different in a different light.One of my strengths is alternative spatial redesign. When you change the way you use the space inside or outside, it can feel like a complete remodel. You can alter a large room or repurpose a small room with illusion meeting function. You can make outdoor areas feel like more rooms within the core design of the house. Trust me, it’s like magic!I prefer to develop a relationship with my clients so they can be a big part of the design process. In developing the relationship, we want to have fun.. I understand that the current economy has put constraints on the consumer, and I love a great bargain. The most potentially costly factor in a design job is a mistake. This is why my clients are happy with my work; first, when cheap labor is needed, I can communicate seamlessly, and I am a perfectionist – so I never take my eye off the job or our goals.Let’s work together!Specialties: I have developed a ‘Chinese Menu’ for my services in which the pricing is all clearly defined to allow the client to choose the services that I will provide.
