Various greenfield and brownfield EPC projects for waste-to-energy units which are facilities that convert solid waste into electricity or heat, that can then be exported to the grid or to industrial consumers, or that can be captured for district heating systems.Responsibilities: • Led and executed detailed EPC contract oversight spanning initial risk assessment during the offer phase to change and claim management during execution, successfully contributing to the negotiation of a 6-month extension and a +30M€ CAPEX revaluation on a critical 575M€ project, and to the collection of 93% out of a £13M bond due to a joint venture default,• Drove the integration of Contract Management across the business unit, leading to the development of robust contract tools and processes, resulting in effective change and claim management especially those related to COVID-induced challenges.

Responsibilities: • Oversaw key procurement categories, including raw materials, equipment, mechanical erection and commissioning services, representing ~65% of project CAPEX. This entailed setting procurement plans with cross-functional teams, negotiating and drafting vital contract documents, and aligning EPC requirements with specific project purchasing terms,• Delivered projects within challenging timeframes and budgets, and played a pivotal role in improving supplier quality and performance, which led to a notable enhancement in the competitiveness and quality of executed works,• Developed a comprehensive 10-year statistical portal mapping the total cost of ownership across top spend categories. This pivotal tool not only enabled the offer department to refine and enhance their proposals but also empowered the purchasing team to bolster their negotiation strategies for better terms,• Executed strategic sourcing across French Overseas Territories, Asia, and Middle East, and contributed to procurement strategies, directly influencing the acquisition of a pivotal EPC contract in La Reunion Island.
