• Successfully led the team of approximately 10 lawyers (between September 2014 – September 2015 and co-led it between September 2016 – December 2018) retained by an American founded bank (formerly a Greek – origin bank) present on the Romanian market in order to provide legal assistance and representation in collective disputes initiated by some hundreds of plaintiffs as well as in some hundreds of individual disputes initiated by the bank’s clients regarding the annulment of certain clauses… Show more • Successfully led the team of approximately 10 lawyers (between September 2014 – September 2015 and co-led it between September 2016 – December 2018) retained by an American founded bank (formerly a Greek – origin bank) present on the Romanian market in order to provide legal assistance and representation in collective disputes initiated by some hundreds of plaintiffs as well as in some hundreds of individual disputes initiated by the bank’s clients regarding the annulment of certain clauses in the credit agreements executed with the bank, most commonly but not exclusively referring to the currency in which the credit was granted and therefore had to be paid off. Co-led the first and most important phase of the project consisting in establishing the best legal strategy, conducting the extensive research necessary to draft the legal arguments to plead the client’s case and drafting the statements of defense which would subsequently be used as templates in all case files.
