- Part of several teams working on new features, components and customer issues for an enterprise content management system. We used Scrum/LeSS as work methodology.- Code migration (with history) from SVN to Git (Gitlab) of the main large repository (2.5 GB files), while the repository was still being used by the team. We established a workflow for bugs and feature development, inspired by git flow, which was adopted by the extended team.- I was part of the team who designed and developed the new Heartbeat server, a stand-alone serverless stack on AWS cloud, which replaced the old self-hosted infrastructure. The stack is in production and gathers data from product installations in the wild, old and new versions, which send data in different formats.- Benchmark tool – worked on revitalizing an existing benchmark framework, using Spring Boot and Docker.- Added metrics to the application, using Micrometer and Prometheus. We gathered metrics for database interaction, REST API, application server metrics.- Worked at extending the REST API framework for the repository.- Worked on features and improvements to the cloud content connectors for AWS S3 and Azure, which allow storing content in the cloud storage.- Security issues and library upgrades, to comply to the client’s SLAs regarding vulnerabilities in the product and 3rd-party libraries.- People management: performance review, goal setting and monitoring for a group of developers (highest number was 5).

- I was part of the sustaining team, dealing with customer issues, hot-fixes and service-pack releases. The bugs and customer issues were reported across all the components of the product, core repository, integrations, UI client application, extensions.- We used Kanban as work methodology, we had specific SLAs to comply to.

- I managed a team of 5 Java developers, working on 3 projects at the time, DB Optimizer, Change Manager and Thunderbolt. I supervised the releases progress.- I encouraged the members of the team to speak up, assume and present their work, I believe strongly in everyone's visibility in the team.- I was part of the company administrative board and held a decisional role.- I performed actively as a software developer. I undertook the responsibility on products installers, customer issues.- During the effort of transforming DBO from a desktop application into a server-client monitoring tool, my team created a test framework for running SQL load against several dozens of data source targets and eventually measuring the performance of the application components - agent, profiling engine, client, repository. I worked on implementing the running load component and investigated several cloud solutions to hold the virtual machines farm.- Since November 2013 I had no team to manage directly in Romania, but I had an active role in training the development team in other locations.

- I was team lead in a team of 2 junior developers and 2 QAs.- Ensured the best practices and process for the team are enacted. I reviewed code and enforced reuse, proper architecture, documentation.- Implemented keys features for DBO like SQL tuning statistics, tuning and profiling reports, tuning job refactoring.- I participated in interviews for junior Java developer and SDET positions.

I worked on several Eclipse based Rich Client Applications:- Rapid SQL Developer - a database tool, oriented to developers, with a really powerful editor, capable of syntax highlighting, code complete, hyperlinks, code hints and transformations.- DB Optimizer - a SQL development and optimizing tool. I was mostly involved in the initial design and implementation of the profiling features.- JBuilder - took part in an effort of modernizing the well-known mammoth product, the approach was a down-to-top building of the new application, adding features one by one, taking advantage of the new ribbon-like UI. I was also involved in product refactoring and reducing the memory footprint on several components.- Deimos - an internal Eclipse provisioning tool built to manage the Eclipse configurations and to share them with others.
