Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities. Allow and encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible. Cook food as per customers health requirement. Initiate and participate in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar and encourage residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs to develop friendship with other residents. Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident’s request for assistance. Locate each resident in any situation, remind them to sign out when they leave the building, and notify the supervisor immediately if unable to locate a resident. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers. Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime. Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential problems to the attention of parents or guardians Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests. Involve in activities like reading and play time with babies and toddlers to introduce basic concepts. For example, teaching them basic discipline like, how to share and take turns by playing games with other children.
