As a scientist with a Ph.D. in physics, I build and test ideas, and communicate outcomes. My favorite creative outlet is solving concrete and constrained problems.I am trained in experimental science and quantum technology, especially photonics and cleanroom fabrication. My theoretical and technical background includes broad knowledge of optics, programming (Python, Matlab), numerical modeling, data-analysis, statistics, signal processing, electronics, micro-mechanics, vacuum systems, and science communication.I have previously worked independently to make an optical MEMS sensor that is scalable and robust, and now collaborate with a team to build a quantum computer that has extreme demands on operation. My work has covered all steps from idea to prototype: design -> simulation -> manufacturing -> testing -> analysis -> optimization -> implementation and verification.
