Recent projects include the design and delivery of event driven audit tool written in Ruby on Rails with PostgreSQL DB and provisioning of a UAT environment with Docker Compose, as well as general engineering on backend FinTech systems utilising technologies including Ruby, PHP, PostgreSQL. At Funding Circle, Andi worked with a tech-stack that includes Ruby, Rails, RSpec, Capistrano, Chef, Docker, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and some legacy PHP.

At amee, Andi helped introducing Agile methodologies and took of leadership of the engineering team. He acted as Scrum Master as well as he contributed to the code base as Senior Developer. During his time at amee, the company launched amee's environmental business directory (ameeProfiles) and published the ameeScore, a carbon rating for UK business. The tech stack at amee includes: Rails 4, Ruby 2, Haml, Sass, JQuery, Angular, Cucumber, Rspec, Jasmin, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Heroku, AWS, Capistrano, Git.

A short term assignment via Austin Fraser. During the 3 months, Andi built amee's CRC compliance application: a tool that lets corporations collect energy data within their operations tree and aggregates the data into reports to meet Environment Agency requirements. Tech stack: Ruby on Rails, Cucumber, RSpec, Twitter Bootstrap, Haml, Sass, MySQL, AWS S3, initially deployed to AWS EC2 with Capistrano, later migrated to Heroku, Git.

Cenatus promotes new music, develops artists and enables wider public use of new digital technologies for creativity.Cenatus works in the fields of web design/development and creative production including live music events, sound art installations, online media projects.Cenatus produces Netaudio London, the UK’s foremost festival dedicated to the musical sounds. Building on the success of to two festivals in 2006 and 2008 and various projects across Europe, Netaudio is to return to London in autumn 2010.Cenatus was set up as a not-for-profit membership organisation in 2005 and is incorporated as the community interest company Cenatus CIC since October 2009. Matt Spendlove and Andi Studer lead the company as directors and are supported by a network of associates working on the various Cenatus projects.
