Key responsibilities:• Category Management for IP MPLS/SDN, Microwave, DWDM, and FTTx transport products• Categories spend control per OpCo with the annual budget USD 100Mn+• Over 40 finalized Group RFPs, direct negotiations, and E-Auctions across MENA and APAC regions• Development and implementation of sourcing strategy aligned with technology roadmaps• Collaboration with Group CxOs and OpCo transport and finance teams to define Network Transport requirements aligned with the annual operation plan and allocated budget• Group RFPs/RFIs including business case preparation with commercial specification to be in line with technical requirements, budget (AOP) and spend control (ASP), vendor management (SCM), negotiations process, and preparation of final recommendations for C-Level executives• Implementation of Digital Transformation projects and initiatives for categories including savings and regular reporting to the Management• Managing stakeholders and providing recommendations to C-Level executives about key milestones of the tender process• Revision of Annual Operation Plans (AOP) and Annual Sourcing Plans (ASP) to identify future projects• Scorecard development on Transport categories and maintaining KPIs for vendor performance• Supplier relationship management• Category benchmarks and analysis preparation based on existing conditions and market insights• Supporting and coaching other category managers in OpCos on Ooredoo internal policies and processes to be fully aligned across the Group
