I was born in Guimarães in 1985.I graduated in Civil Engineering in 2008 at the Universidade do Minho. In 2010, at the same institution and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. José Sena-Cruz, I got my Master's Degree in Sustainable Construction and Rehabilitation, with the presentation of a thesis entitled "Analysis and reinforcement of flat slabs".My professional career started in 2009 at ALCEPI, Lda., as a member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to consulting and supervision of public and private constructions, being responsible for the structural design (concrete, steel and geotechnical design).I consider myself a professional with dynamism, good communication and interacting skills and a great team spirit. Taking advantage of a good adaptability I’m always willing to extend my training to new knowledge. I always had an interest in associativism and in 2008 I became responsible for the treasure of the Civil Engineering Students Association at Universidade do Minho, allowing me to develop leadership and organizational skills that proved to be very useful in my professional life, in addiction of being a member of the Academic Association of Universidade do Minho (2005-2008). Currently I’m a member of various local civil society organizations.Following that interest in leadership and organizational skills I recently took a course of Project Management.
