CurrentMy role at AJ's Total Truck Gear developed over time as the business grew. Originally I dealt with the bookwork and the general day to day dirty work that needed to be cleaned up. In 2001 we had a traumatic accident with our son in which we had to be airlifted to Brisbane and were there for nearly 3 months. On our return to Toowoomba, I was heavily involved in physical therapy with my son and my husband went back to work to find we basically had no customers left - hence no income with a sick son. About this time we received a letter in the mail from Action International - the coaching course . We knew we had to get the business to a level where we could take on employees and for the business to run without us. We took this course on, and with sheer determination, sweat , blood and tears we did get the business to the point where we now have 50 employees and 3 businesses. But, the price now is extremely high stress levels and constant mediation with staff, therefore I have taken action and I am now working from home whenever I wish and once again experiencing the pleasure of having the time and money to do what I enjoy.
