In a small but wide-ranging company with focus on the process industry, I worked with canvas sale, drafting of brochures and commercials and contact to the press concerning marketing. Moreover general business development – including startup of collaboration with a German supplier of wastewater treatment plants.On this basis I was the link between sales, construction and production.In close collaboration with the electric and controls department, I was responsible for:- construction of equipment for malting at a whiskey brewery.- development and production of advanced dosing units for the process industry, constructed as scalable concept with the use of parametric CAD-design.- complete test equipment for advanced long term test of pumps under different climatic circumstances.As project manager I led these assignments from start to finish as developer and constructor, purchaser and responsible for subcontracting and as shop foreman in production as well as in installation and commissioning. Furthermore I assisted in modification and improvement of large industry bakery lines and in projects for the fish industry in different parts of the world.

In a company with a strong culture that combines the best of theoretical engineering with proud craftsmanship, thereby delivering innovative product development, I played two main roles. 1: Diverse mechanical development and problem solving - from concept phase to documentation and functional model or finished product, for a wide variety of customers where I played a key role in several projects for Keofitt, comprehensive conceptual studies for Maersk Supply Service and Aquaporin and product review and improvement for Alfa Laval. Furthermore I’ve assisted in projects for Coloplast, Atlas Maridan, d line, Litehauz, Jørgen Kruse, specialcontainer.dk, DTU Fotonik,The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation and several others.2: Marketing and sales - promoting the company’s strengths and unique approach to tasks and building up relations from simple canvassing to navigating in Kapacitet´s large portfolio of existing customers. Contacting new potential customers and partners at exhibitions, conferences etc. Moreover I was a driving force in arranging network meetings and the like in especially the subsea area.Market research, networking and sales was conducted primarily in Denmark, but also in Norway and Sweden, thus building a large network in these countries within a wide variety of sectors ranging from e.i. medical devices to large offshore and marine constructions. I often followed up with initial customer meetings, drafted quotations and later followed the assignment to completion either by taking active part in solving the tasks or insuring a smooth transfer to colleagues and adequate regular follow up on project goals.

Internship as part of the AP Degree in Production Technology. Development of electro mechanical height adjustable shower bench for the healthcare sector. Moreover participating in the brainstorming and concept phases of miscellaneous development projects. The work was carried out in the office as well as in the test workshop.

Early warning of newly introduced circulation pumps; disassembling and analysis of all warranty cases. Also involved in development of a new line of energy saving circulation pumps and odd workshop jobs for the new business segments.

Involved in development and construction, experiments and tests, production, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants. In addition to the mechanical profession, I came in touch with many areas of expertise such as chemistry, biology, automation and controls, building and construction etc.Furthermore involved in 24 hour plant supervision scheme with remote control and monitoring of plants and ad hoc plant visits in Denmark and other European countries.

In charge of all on-site phases of commissioning, from site acceptance test to full operation and delivery of wastewater plant at a juice factory in the Netherlands.

On site leader for 5 to 15 colleagues plus numerous external contractors thereby insuring project execution from casting of foundation to full operation of wastewater plant at new fish oil factory in Denmark.Coordinating tasks, health & safety etc. with both internal project leaders and external stakeholders e.g., other foremen at a construction site with over 400 craftsmen.

Assisting in development and operation of new modular concept for cleaning of wastewater by being fully responsible for practical and administrative tasks on two pilot plants at dairies in England.

All odd jobs in the test and model workshops in the Business Development Centre.

1st. year at the Technology Centre; producing parts for construction of machines and production lines. The rest of the time was in the Business Development Centre; making prototypes, test equipment etc. Interrupted by approx. 4 months exchange to Grundfos' factory in England; producing new production equipment and spare parts for existing machines as well as maintenance and repair of these.

In addition to my full time apprenticeship as Industrial Technician at Grundfos, I spent evenings and weekends with production work, such as sawing raw materials and operator tasks at CNC machines.

In my summer vacations in 1998 to 2001 from my Higher Technical Exam, I worked with all odd jobs in connection with repair and maintenance of various farming equipment, among others Valtra tractors and John Deere tractors and combines.
