Education Specialist
CurrentCurrently, I am an Educational Specialist at the Juvenile Rehabilitation Center for a camp based program called River's Edge Academy. Only in its second year of existence, River's Edge Academy is restorative program built to provide the tools needed for youth to successfully reintegrate into society and participate as leaders in their community. The program provides the unique opportunity for students to receive a vast array of services including daily social/emotional skill based groups, trauma informed schooling, consistent counseling services, after school credit recovery programs, job skills education, work opportunities, family counseling and aftercare check ins. River's Edge Academy is unique in nature and in many ways a forerunner in Juvenile Justice.
