I studied quantum effects in the electrical conductance of single molecules. Specifically, I developed advanced computer simulations, analyzed data and performed experiments to extract intuitive models that can be understood by both chemists and physicists. I also taught math to biochemists, physics to chemists and chemistry to biologists with with outstanding results. -
Visiting Student In The Lab Of Latha VenkataramanColumbia University In The City Of New York Mar 2015 - Sep 2015Using a Scanning Tunneling Microscope Break Junction technique (STM-BJ) I measured the conductance of single molecules. Alongside I simulating the experiments using numerical methods. This allowed complimentary interpretation of experiments and calculations and rapid validation/rejection of hypotheses. I gained lab experience and developed my coding skills in Igor Pro. -
