I have throughout my 35+ years career been interested in researching how work and professional education are interwoven in social contexts, and how these sites prefigure the production of experience, expertise, and knowledge for professionals. I do research in the interdisciplinary landscape of education, science and technology studies, the sociology of professions and professionalism, working life studies, organization studies, and theoretical approaches associated with practice-based studies and practice theory.
