As Product Manager, I have the global responsibility for some of the bank's Trade Finance products. In practice, this entail to set and drive the strategic agenda for the products as well as to ensure a competitive product offering. The responsibility also cover on- and offboarding of Trade Finance products. Furthermore, the role means that you are responsible to identify and mitigate all the risks associated with the products. Since February 2021, I am a certified Product Owner/Product Manager in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.

Responsible for Trade Finance Operations in Gothenburg with approx 15 employees. Responsible for delivering the Trade Finance products Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Collections in time and with high quality. During one year also responsible for the Trade Finance Operations in Malmo with five employees.During this period, processes that my team was responsiblte for were offshored and outsourced to other countries. Although this was challenging, it also gave me a lot of valuable experience in managing a team when the circumstances are very challenging.

Responsibility: To offer Volvo Truck's importers and End customers competitive financial solutions - Both Trade Finance solutions as well as solutions covered by Export Credit Agencies or private insurers. The role demanded frequent travelling to Africa and Middle East in order to present and negotiate different financial solutions, as well as to negotiate repayments. The role gave me negotiation skills as well as multicultural skills, as the negotiations were held with people from other cultures, in their home countries.
