I've always been deeply curious about how things work, and I love using that knowledge to create something new. For me, there's no better place to explore this than at the intersection of math, physics, computer science, and medicine.This passion has led me to my current role as a Senior Lecturer in Medical Physics at Umeå University. Here, I teach magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), radiation, and nuclear physics to a diverse audience, ranging from physicists to nurses. Research is a major part of my work, and it's something I'm truly passionate about.I've had a long-standing interest in improving MRI by enhancing its ability to make quantitative measurements, and more recently, I've been exploring how the latest AI advancements can enhance image quality and radiation therapy.Making a real-world impact is just as important to me as making discoveries. To that end, my colleagues and I founded Hero Imaging AB, where I serve as CTO. I lead a small but powerful development team working on Hero, a user-friendly image processing platform.
