As Director of the KPMG Global Strategy Group in Finland (GSG), I'm responsible for developing, selling and delivering client solutions in line with the KPMG GSG value propositions of Growth Strategy, Operation Strategy and Cost, Deal Strategy and Enterprise Wide Transformation, as well as supporting sales and delivery of any other KPMG service within the Global KPMG network.As Head of Industrial Manufacturing Sector in Finland, I'm responsible for coordinating and supporting clients and KPMG Client Service Teams in providing expertise and knowledge sharing from across the KPMG network.

As Partner and shareholder of Practicon Partners Oy, I served mainly Finnish industrial listed companies in the areas of operational improvement, as well as MidCap companies in strategy formulation, operational development and implementation. The assignments typically comprised the full process of challenge formulation, baselining, analysis, solutions development and implementing change. The results of operational improvements could typically be measured in millions of cost savings and in tens of millions in capital release. I held the position of CEO of Practicon Partners Oy from 2002 to 2006.

As Management Consultant of Devcons, I served Finnish MidCap and SmallCap companies in operational development and implementation both as team member and team leader. The results could typically be measured in improvement of operational efficiency by 20-40%.

As Business Area manager (2/1995-11/1997), I had the P&L responsibility of the Billnäs leaf spring business, with sales of about FIM60 million and 90 employees. Initiated and led an operational two year turnaround initiative where the operational levels of the organisation where reduced from five to three, the throughput time in production was reduced from about 18 days to five days, the delivery reliability from production was increased from about 85% to over 98%, when simultaneously the output volume was increased by a third.
