Results obtained as lead in-house counsel on the following projects:• Successful outsourcing of Novozymes’ global IT-infrastructure to a multinational IT service provider in a multifaceted tender process involving transfer of IT employees and complex procedures for reporting, auditing, and benchmarking • Negotiating and executing a long-term global research, development and distribution alliance with Monsanto within BioAg involving transfer of the existing Novozymes sales force to Monsanto and complex joint R&D commitments and profit sharing mechanisms• Managing an international arbitration case in New York against top five pharmaceutical company with a team of external US lawyers• Managing an international arbitration case in Copenhagen against a biotech company• Negotiating and executing various complex development and out-licensing agreements for pharmaceutical molecules or technologies• Negotiating large insurance claim against two state-owned insurance companies in China• Negotiating long-term contract manufacturing agreement with Japanese pharmaceutical company • Handling several M&A business divestment and restructuring projects within Novozymes• Running the legal team for the successful acquisition and integration of Organobalance GmbH in Germany• Providing legal advice to the following industries in Novozymes: Biopharma, Household Care, Agriculture (BioAg), Animal Feed & Nutrition, Technical Industries, and Food & Beverages• Drafting and implementing contract templates and policies within Novozymes with the achievement of efficiency gains and flexibility in execution of standard contract documents• Implementing the new Market Abuse Regulation within Novozymes
