Board MemberThe American Friends Of Nationalmuseum Of Sweden (Afns) Sep 2017 - PresentThe American Friends of the National Museum of Sweden (AFNS), a 501 C3 non-for-profit company, was established with the specific purpose to support the Nationalmuseum of Sweden’s new exhibition – “Beauty and the Unexpected: Modern & Contemporary American Crafts” - March 30th, 2023 – February 16, 2025 – an eclectic collection of modern and contemporary American crafts (1960-). This exhibition was put together and curated by the internationally acclaimed American art collector and curator, the “godmother of American Craft”, Mrs. Helen Drutt English. The role of the AFNS was to receive these objects that have all been donated by collectors and Mrs. Drutt English, as well as importantly to financially support this unique exhibition. The world renowned Nationalmuseum houses vast collections of paintings (incl. old masters), sculptures, drawings and prints from 1500-1900, and applied arts, design, and portraits from early Middle Ages up until present day. Yet modern and contemporary American crafts have been missing in the collection until now.The AFNS's mission is to support and foster the understanding and appreciation of art and design, which includes promoting and supporting the work of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm Sweden, one of the leading museums of the world.

PresidentAnders Holst Music Jan 2005 - PresentNew York, United StatesAnders Holst is returning after a lengthy hiatus with his perfectly titled latest album Endlessly, a heartfelt, lushly produced, pop-oriented collection featuring seven originals exploring the many facets of romantic love (co-written by the singer), a dynamic re-imagining of Kem’s “Heaven” and soulful tributes to Stevie Wonder (“All I Do”) and George Michael (“Cowboys & Angels,” a duet with Sy Smith). Recorded with a live ensemble in New York, with additional recording and mixing in Stockholm, the album was produced by Holst, Jerker Eklund and multiple Grammy nominee Gordon Chambers. It features lush string arrangements, soaring backing vocals and solo spotlights by keyboardist Shedrick Mitchell, guitarist Sherrod Barnes, and saxophonists Peck Almond and Andreas “Pastorn” Andersson. The vision for Endlessly took root when Chambers invited Holst to an open mic session at New York’s Underground club featuring Mitchell as music director. The singer loved the energy of the live playing and said he wanted to do an album showcasing these musicians. Four singles from the album "Endlessly" reached the Smooth Jazz Top 100 Chart and among them the title song "Endlessly" reached #47. The Anders Holst music production also includes the albums “Five”, “Romantika” and “Soho Suite”.
