As technical sales representative, it was my job to care for an existing customer portfolio and also to expand it. My job at SNF Nordic was to sell polymers for waste water treatment mainly at municipal waste water plants and also for the Industrial side such as Findus and Abba seafood. This work demands a high technical understanding for the industrial machinery and also the chemistry of the products i sold. I had about 50 customers in my portfolio at a radius of 500 kilometers from where i live, so i traveled four days out of five on a normal week.

This was an "in between" part-time job for me and included helping customers in the store to find the right products for their needs as well as providing tips and advice about the products. Checkout Service and picking goods was also included in this job.

I was promoted to this area of responsability at the end of 2008/2009. It became an extension of the responsibilities as purchasing manager. License agreements, leasing contracts for office machinery and arrival registration and tracking of invoices were also a part of my responsibility. When I started working with these new responsibilities I quit working as a quality engineer for obvious reasons. The office had about 40 employees at the time. Much of the time in the beginning was spent to gain an understanding of the various contracts the company was currently under. Procedures for fire safety and evacuation plan were updated and I was also a part of the planning for a relocation of the office.
