It has truly been “The Most Beautiful Voyage”. As Content Manager Consultant for the Nordics my main objective has been to make the Hurtigruten-experience “come alive” on digital platforms. And good and relevant stories – derived from nice offers – have inspired consumers to take action: After quite a few dismal years the Nordics contributed with an extraordinary increase of nearly 50 000 passengers in 2014. The pre-season sale for summer 2015 knocked all expectations – and budgets. And we saw an increase in conversion rate on the Norwegian site from a poor 0.6 to a quite nice 1.5/1.6 – and rising (cruise average was 0.8 in the summer of 2014). On top of that my Social Media-strategies rejuvenated the brand – especially on Facebook and Instagram. Late September 2014 we launched 12 new Facebook pages – one for each of the ships in the fleet. By late January 2015 the pages are edited by about 40 crewmembers. This unique collaboration generate “live” updates and great stories from the coast of Norway and the far reaches of Arctic-waters; Antarctica, Greenland, Spitsbergen. Proud publisher of Scandinavia´s only golf magazine made exclusively for Apple iPad and iPhone - aiGolf. I write, I shoot video, snap the pictures, edit, design and publish (now with the Mag+ InDesign Plugin).

Head of the editing and design department at Norway´s third largest newspaper Dagbladet. With circulation decreasing my main focus was to cut costs through the use of new technology and the facilitation of a new workspace environment. Initialy the department consisted of 54 employees. Used two and a half years to cut the department down to 34 employees.

Lead a team of highly skilled sub editors and designers producing the daily edition of Dagbladet.

Prize winning newspaper and magazine sub-editor and designer in Norway's third largest newspaper. Tok part in the launch of Magasinet - the most awardwinning magasine in Scandinavia.
