- This position was a 2 months emergency role as acting Head of Finance, Administration and HR for 3 new projects in Greece, totalling 13,5 mio EUR.- Expand our financial and administrative setup from 1 office to 3 offices going from 2 small projects to 3 big projects for ECHO, UNHCR and DFID.- Develop tools, guidelines, and working structures for finance, administration and HR.- Set up donor budgets in corporation with the Head of Programme and coordinate this with the overall DRC master budget.- Hire and train 12-15 new staff for finance, admin and HR.- Facilitate the administrative setup for expanding the program from 20-25 people to an estimated 250 people, Greek and International staff combined.- Untangle and implement the Greek Labour Law and Tax Regulations in our operation.- Develop the staff policies to be in accordance with both Greek Labour Law, the internal DRC guidelines, and our own economical scope.- Coordinate the DRC Greece’s overall organizational development in the Senior Management Team together with the Country Director and the Head of Programmes.- Prepare interim and final financial reports for our projects.- Facilitate and prepare audits from our donors.

Somalia

- Train our finance team in Somalia in our financial setup, tools, routines and Navision, both locally in the field offices and with larger central training sessions.- Prepare and implement the finance team in Somalia for the finance decentralization process, were more responsibility and finance management is placed locally in Somalia.- Update the finance organizational setup, finance tools, job descriptions and work routines together with the Head of Finance.- Conduct training sessions in connection with the implementation of our finance management system Navision in Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda.
