As founder of the company and as the primary inventor I have been managing the technical development of a fuel cell powered charger for cell phones, called Powertrekk. The charger, which is produced in China, is sold in about 15 countries globally. With a small budget and under strict time constrains I have been responsible for the development, patenting and industrialisation of a micro fuel cell, fuel technology solution, and power electronics. Worked as research scientist, supervisor for PhD-students and teacher within the field of Applied Electrochemistry, with special focus on electrode materials characterisation. The research was focussed on the polymer exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and on supercapacitors. During this period I wrote applications and received funding for several research projects. I was project manager of EU-projects and Swedish national projects, and co-supervisor to 5 PhD students. In 2005 I was appointed Docent (Associate Professor).

Superfarad Svenska AB was a mother organisation in a cooperation project with a Russian research institute, and with the purpose to commercialise a number of materials inventions. I worked as responsible for IP questions and as a technical link between the inventors and the patent attorney. From the autumn of 1998 I was responsible for the development of supercapacitors, a research and development program which included around 40 people working in Sweden, USA, Russia, Estonia and Ukraine.

The instrumental analysis methods used were: electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), gas and Hg-porosimetry, X-ray diffractometry (XRD), thermogravimetrical analysis (TGA), and a number of electrochemical analysis methods.
