Dealing with operation, maintenance, implementation, troubleshooting of core and access networks for BT's MPLS and Internet networks. Support of Internet and MPLS network services, IPv6, Multicast, Ethernet connect global (ECG), Cloud Connect - cloud services, SD-WAN (software driven products) have been training and getting first hand knowledge. Peering – installation/deinstallation, upgrade - of connections to other providers and Internet Exchange Points, configuration for traffic exchange with other providers. Have been training/mentoring other members of my team. Support includes 2 different on-call duties - one for each global network, MPLS and the Internet.

Operation, maintenance, implementation, troubleshooting of Telenordia's core and access network in the Nordics. We installed and managed core and customer routers. We handled peering against other providers at IXP’s like NETNOD in Stockholm, we configured for traffic exchange with other operators. We manage "postmaster", "hostmaster" mailboxes, managed some DNS functions, we had some contacts with RIPE etc. On-call duty was included in the work. The Telenordia joint venture was eventually broken up and I ended up staying with British Telecom.

Later I started to manage, maintain, implement and troubleshoot the University's computer network, a network built by Cisco equipment.
