Responsible for purchasing of direct and indirect material, this includes the raw materials; bitumen, SBS, polyester and EPDM but also traded goods, energy, company cars and others. Total procurement volume approximately m€ 50. Member of the management team of Nordic Waterproofing Group and two of the operating units.Function was mainly strategic, but also had elements of tactical purchasing. The strategic decisions led to closer collaboration with selected suppliers with the objective to create long term profitability. Tactical decisions were more short term, focusing on lower cost price per unit purchased. Supplier base consisted mostly of international companies.

In essence, this function was the same at Nordic Waterproofing, but with slightly less volume.Initiator of creating and implementation of the procurement process with regular supplier assessments. Further broadened the purchasing function to become proactive with a focus on increased supplier base and supplier development to continuously decrease the total cost.

The Swedish part of the business unit had sales of approximately m€ 40.Developed the sales & marketing organisation to work more modern and meet the demands of customers against a supplier. Examples are working actively with key account management and to evolve from being a supplier of products to a supplier of systems and concepts.
