About Anders Ohrstrom
Engineer focusing on design and manufacturing, currently working with Micro-Mode Products creating parts for air, space, and defense. While often creating new designs and ECOs for customers, I take initiative to contribute to the technological advancement of the company. Focusing on mechanical related prototypes/fixtures/tooling using available resources such as 3d printing, which I enjoy working working with off the clock as well. I am skilled in using SolidWorks (Certified Associate), Creo Pro-E, and Autodesk Inventor Modeling softwares, and currently am teaching two of them at my alma mater, San Diego State University. I include introductory mechanical design theory and basic engineering communication skill in my course curriculum as well. I am skilled using Microsoft Office/Excel/Powepoint and have experience using SolidWorks FEA and ANSYS analysis software. I am always looking for a challenge and hope to never lose my desire to learn.
