Anders Olshov is an economist/analyst, independent debater and writer. He has a background as macroeconomist at Nordea Bank and Carnegie Investment Bank, where he worked between 1992 and 2002 with European and international economics and politics at the FX and fixed income markets before he founded the Oresund Institute in 2002. In 2016 he founded Intelligence Watch, a new think tank for sustainable development. He has written and edited a number of books and reports about Sweden, Denmark and the Oresund region. In 2013 Gyldendal published his book "Øresundsregionen - Københavns outnyttjade möjlighet". He has been quoted in Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Time and The Economist and have spoken at several international conferences.Between 1987 and 1991 he worked as journalist at different papers and news agencies, among them the daily Swedish business papers Dagens Industri and Finanstidningen. Anders Olshov holds a degree in economics and business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. In 2010 he was awarded the prize "Economist of the year in Skåne".
