Responsiblity for developing, proposing, coordinating and leading a range of R&D projects (both national and EU). Successful funding sources have been EU-FP7 (IP, STREP & ERANET), the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation, The Prevention Fund, The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme and private Danish companies. Total grant sum: 145 Mio. DKK. As project manager I have managed, among other R&D projects, two projects funded partly by the Danish Business Authority, partly by EUs Structural Funds. I have also written a few business proposals, contributed to scientific papers, held presentations on vision in robotics, as well as I have contributed to software development related to image analysis and vision applications.

Scientific work comprised: problem formulation, computer simulations, planning, experimentaldesign and setup, controlling monitor properties as well as lighting conditions, interaction withsubjects, experiments comprised more than 200.000 trials, which provided unprecedented accuracy, data analysis, model synthesis, evaluation, documentation and publication of results. Highlights are:• Investigated how accuracy in visual character identification depends on exposure duration.• Developed a computational framework for accuracy in multi-element visual displays.• Showed that a new psychometric function significantly and consistently improves modelaccuracy in single- as well as in multi-element visual displays.Results published in JEP:HPP (find link below)

As conscripted sailor I was trained in Action Information Systems (AIS). I was also trained and certified as naval Firefighter and smoke diver.
