I am currently working as a data scientist & Excel developer in VELUX where I am responsible for developing (designing, coding and maintaining) systems and tools used within our global logistics setup. The most significant of these being our in-house developed demand- & production planning systems which are both a hybrid between an Excel front-end (developed through VBA/Python) and a SAP IBP back-end. I have 9 years of experience within the field of supply chain optimization ranging from demand planning & sales forecasting, designing and being part of VELUXs S&OP process to a wide range of analytical tasks like calculating optimal stock targets & stocking policies, route optimization etc.For the past years my work has been concentrated around defining and designing business processes and developing tools to support these. I excel in extracting and working with large amounts of data, presenting them in a nice and structured way to allow users to interact and work with data through graphical user interfaces.I have significant experience with various technologies including programming in VBA (Excel coding on a professional level with 12+ years of experience), SAP R3/ECC/IBP/APO (worked with each system extensively) and experience with structuring, analyzing and presenting data through the Office suite and BI platforms (Power Query/Power BI & SAP Lumira).I have experience with project management through my role as track-lead on VELUX’s transition from SAP APO to SAP IBP.
