I obtained my PhD from the Department of Psychology at Stockholm University in 1998. In 2009, I was recognized by the Emerald Management Review as a co-author of one of the top 50 scientific management articles of the year. In 2011, I was granted the title of associate professor at Stockholm University.My current research focuses on personnel selection, personality, and intelligence. Additionally, I instruct courses on personnel selection, economic utility analysis, and psychometrics, and I also supervise PhD students. I have been a longstanding member of the Board of Assessments within the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA). I have extensive experience in developing psychological assessments for both developmental and selection purposes. I have adapted clinical and educational tests for psychologists within the Nordic markets. In 2018, I initiated the Assessment Engine project, an assessment service providing technology-based psychological assessments in the domains of interest/motivation, personality, and intelligence. I am also a co-author of the book "Personlighet i arbete," published by Natur och Kultur in 2020.I served as a member of the ISO Project Committee (PC230) for ISO 10667, which deals with assessment service delivery procedures and methods in work and organizational settings. I was also a member of the drafting committee for the Standard. Throughout the years, I have been an expert in personnel selection for various Swedish authorities, including the Swedish Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Forces, the Armed Forces, and the Swedish Security Service. In recent years, my research has focused on advanced psychometrics, specifically three-dimensional item response theory, and selection for specialized positions within the military and police forces. Since 2023, I have also worked as a senior advisor at the Mercuri Urvals Research Institute (MU RI).
