Dr Anders Sjögren has been involved in research and development on composite materials for 25 years. He holds a PhD from Luleå University of Technology and a MSc from Linköping University. His research has to a large extent focused on failure mechanisms for composite materials. In 2005 he started Ad Manus Materialteknik AB, which is a company that offers training, laboratory testing and consulting services on polymer materials for engineering systems and structures. During the years 2011 to 2016 he was Managing Director for Polymercentrum Sverige AB, which is an industry association for the Swedish Plastic Industry. From January 2017 he is employed as Adjunct Lecturer at Lund University, conducting research and teaching about composite materials.
