I have close to 20 years’ experience of advising different stakeholders involved in M&A transactions. Focus has been on private equity as well as deals in the small and medium-sized segments.On the buy-side of the M&A process, I have typically represented private equity firms or industrial buyers aiming at consolidating their respective industry sectors by acquiring smaller competitors. In particular I have solid experience of acquisitions within construction & installation, transport & logistics, engineering & heavy industry, food & health and consumer products. I have worked for or against many of the leading Nordic private equity firms.As one example on buy-side M&A, I worked closely together with the Triton-owned installation group NVS in its strategy to expand its business in Sweden and Scandinavia through add-on acquisitions. During a period of 18 months we made 15 acquisitions in Sweden, Norway and Finland. On the sell-side, I have regularly advised M&A advisors and sellers of privately owned businesses. For more than 10 years, I have been the transaction lawyer of one of the leading M&A advisors in the small-medium-sized segment. During these years I have advised the sell-side in more than 130 completed transactions covering most industry sectors. Through these transactions have I gained very valuable insight in the challenges that face many entrepreneurs when it comes to the decision to sell something that they have dedicated their lives to. I have worked closely together with the entrepreneurs during the entire sales process and I know how to establish confidence.
