Sr. Staff Representative - Quality Assurance Technical Operations
Current• Quality Assurance focal for the U.S Air Force / Boeing / Pratt & Whitney joint F117-PW-100 Military Engine Maintenance / Overhaul program at United Airlines Maintenance Base in San Francisco, CA .• Participating in monthly Quality Conference calls with Customer as well as biannual face-to-face Quality Meetings between the Customer and United Airlines discussing any quality concerns, procedure changes and / or opportunity for improvements regarding the joint Engine Maintenance / Overhaul program.• Senior Auditor responsible for the accomplishment of Audits and Investigations on behalf of United Airlines in direct support of Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, Part 121.373 Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS). • Travel extensively to Vendor facilities in the United States and Worldwide to conduct Approval Audits of new 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station Vendors, as well as Surveillance Audits of approved 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station Vendors performing Repairs & Overhaul of complete Engines and Aircraft Components.• Conducting Safety Management System (SMS) risk assessments, generate Audit Reports, monitor Corrective Actions and follow-ups to ensure compliance.• Conducting Investigations and respond to the FAA with Root Cause and Corrective Actions regarding Letters of Investigation and Voluntary Self Disclosures when Non-Compliance issues have been identified.• Responsible for managing United Airlines Repairman Certification program which includes interaction with the FAA to approve new Repairman Certificates as well as surrender inactive Repairman Certificates. • Responsible for providing the FAA with required Aircraft Registration documentation when an Aircraft is scrapped sold or returned to a Lease Holding Company.
