I am a Swedish engineer living Taiwan. I am working in the semiconductor industry at a company producing coater/developer machines for customers all around the world. I've spent the past two years as an electrical design engineer, creating BOM lists and electrical schematics to match the customer requirements for new machines. I also support the purchasing department to qualify new suppliers and find alternative parts when the original parts are no longer available. In addition I help assembly and commissioning teams to troubleshoot any issues that arise on the production line. Before that I was working in the medical device industry developing assembly machines and inspection equipment. I spent five years in control engineering plus two years in the QC department. As a person I am a problem solver; both colleagues and customers are satisfied with the help I can provide in resolving various issues. I am good at communicating both internally within the organization as well as with customers, and I have several times been brought in to act as a bridge between the two sides. I can communicate in both English and Chinese. I am a generalist and while I might not have in-depth knowledge of a certain system or product I am a quick learner and it only takes me a short period of time before I'm able to perform new tasks.In my spare time I love to travel, to see new places and experience new cultures. Me and my wife are constantly exploring Taiwan and visiting interesting places in this country.
