Video Editor
CurrentInternational marketer and salesman for over 20 years, I have a clear understanding of today’s business climate and the importance of communication. Following marketing work in Stockholm, Sweden I was transferred to Germany, and in 1990 moved to the U.S. to open a regional sales office for an international manufacturing company in Chicago.I was an early adopter of video and started to create educational sales videos for the North American market, for distributors and end users on highly technical solutions. Shooting in very tight, loud live environments or during exhibitions with bad lighting and turning boring, loud manufacturing processes into exciting videos in the post production process was and is still challenging. Working with a small crew or by myself and communicating with non-actors is easy for me.Shooting VR, and the use of Augmented Video (AR) are new media branches are very interesting, especially AR, which we might benefit tremendously from. I have several ideas on how to adapt it, especially on mobile devices.Throughout my career I have always listened to people, and my mentors encouraged me to try new ideas and to be a trustworthy and helpful person. I’m also never afraid of asking for help. Video is becoming ubiquitous and is in everyone’s hands today, and delivery platforms are continuing to change. I sometimes refer to it to as “as big as the desktop revolution”. Video is a powerful tool and everyone can shoot video, which is great. I see myself having a role as a “video author”.Chicago Creative Pro User Group has been a tremendous resource to me, where I can contribute and learn about the latest in video trends and application features.I’m currently taking a master class in color grading by ColorGradingCentral and learning Fusion 9.I’m no stranger to camera, audio or lighting equipment, as I’m used to shooting on my own. Currently I’m using a new GH5 as my main camera.Reel at @anderschicago on Facebook
