Postdoctoral researcher within the project Social exclusion, polarization and security in the Nordic welfare state (SEPOS, NordForsk, 2021-2023), researching state repression of right-wing extremism.

PhD candidate within the research project "From the margins to the mainstream: Populist radical right parties and government formation in Europe". Working with research on how political parties act in relation to the radical right, with a particular focus on policy adaptation and coalition formation at the Swedish national and local levels. Defended the doctoral thesis "Isolating the Radical Right: Coalition Formation and Policy Adaptation in Sweden" in December 2020.

Worked on the project "New Voices, Old Roots - Dilemmas of Populism in Enlarged Europe". Primarily working with collection of qualitative and quantitative data and analysis of populist radical right parties in Europe. Among other things, I worked on:- All stages of an expert survey dealing with the estimation of Nordic radical right party positions along several policy dimensions.- Analysing the representativeness of European radical right parties vis-à-vis their voters.- Studying how Nordic party systems have been affected by the electoral fortunes of the populist radical right.- Collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data for the Sweden Democrats, including coding election manifestos and social media flows.Earlier project: "Governments in Europe - Bringing in the Baltic and East Central European Democracies" on the making and breaking of government coalitions. Assisted in data collection and analysis, project/event coordination, and built a website/data archive accommodating research data for several research projects.

Worked for the municipality's development division on a project concerning regional development. Assisted in data collection and analysis, event coordination and the the authoring of a programme for future regional development.

Contributed with Swedish data to a project studying European electoral system change since World War II. Gathered relevant legislation and translated to English.
