My professional career has been marked by great challenges and much work. The result has been very successful, both for me and for my employers. After my engineering exam I joined the Navy as a technical officer. The training provided a deeper technical / practical experience as well as a focus on pedagogy and leadership. In civil, I've been active in building a highly successful technical consulting business. Through this I’ve gained many years experience of management team work. Over the years, I’ve been awarded the responsibility of many different positions and roles. This includes positions as Project Manager, Project Unit Manager, Consultant Manager, Business Unit Manager and Business Operations Manager.Roles includes Security Manager, IS/IT Manager, Human Resources Manager and Quality Manager. In addition to this, I have worked extensively with the sale, negotiation, business development and training, often in a complete process from concept and quotation stage to delivery and follow up. My work has often been used as a benchmark for others. I have often been designated to support, assist and relieve my managers and co-workers.
