Based in Seattle, Washington, Anders Brown is an experienced executive and business operator having built and scaled businesses at the intersection of software, hardware, and new markets. He has a broad range of sales, marketing, engineering and operational experience across US, Asia, and Europe, including a wide range of work with corporate financings such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs. Currently Anders is an Operating Partner with GLP Capital Partners (GCP) where he oversees certain venture and private equity investments made by GCP in their US portfolio. Most recently -- and with the financial backing of Providence Swedish Health -- Anders led the creation and launch of Tegria (www.tegria.com), a global healthcare IT services organization. Beginning in 2019 and as President of Tegria, Anders deployed investment capital acquiring, scaling, and integrating multiple operating companies into a $300M+ annual revenue, 1,500-person organization operating across US, Canada, and the UK.Prior to Tegria, Anders founded Radius in 2012, an Internet of Things (IoT) engineering services company headquartered in Seattle, Washington operating across multiple vertical industries including manufacturing, retail, agriculture, and aviation. After growing and scaling Radius, the company was acquired by Luxoft Corporation (NYSE:LXFT), a global IT services organization headquartered in Zug, Switzerland with engineering capacity across Eastern Europe. Prior to Radius, Anders worked at iSoftStone, a global IT services organization headquartered in Beijing, China. Anders joined iSoftStone as Senior Vice President of iSoftStone US after the company acquired Akona Consulting, a consulting services firm founded by Anders in 2005 based in Seattle, Washington. As part of his role at iSoftStone, Anders helped prepare the company for an IPO in 2010, and in 2011 Anders moved to Paris, France to launch iSoftStone Europe. From 1997 – 2005 Anders held multiple leadership roles at Microsoft Corporation. Anders is currently Chairman of the Board at the Woodland Park Zoo, as well as an active member of the University of Washington Engineering Innovation in Health (eih.uw.edu) Advisory Board. He is an active angel investor and advisor to several Seattle-based start-ups and is a graduate of the University of Washington where he received a Bachelor and Master of Mechanical Engineering.
